Hajdunanas Eco Expo in Hungary

There was a high interest at farmers for recovery of N/P from agri/food by-products, with special relation to the new Fertilising Products Regulation and other EU law harmonisations. Over 300 farmers, 35 exhibitors with stands and regional policy makers attended. Edward Someus made an oral presentation on the NUTRIMAN project and status of the EU law harmonisation of the innovative fertiliser products. Additional face to face discussions made with farmers and representatives of Producer Organizations, who have been invited for NUTRIMAN link and cooperation.

UNITO made an oral presentation (05 June, 2019) on the NUTRIMAN project and status of the EU law harmonisation of the innovative fertiliser products. It was shown the application of the products in pots trials on tomato and lettuce. During this event UNITO distributed a NUTRIMAN poster, a scientific article published on “Protezione delle colture” about NUTRIMAN project and the product schedule. We also shared the link to the website and farmers platform so the participants can look into the products more into detail afterwards. About 50 participants attended the event.

The IDSA conference in May 2019 gathered many French companies (SUEZ, VEOLIA, AUREA, etc.) or institutions (INRAe, CNRS, Chambers of agriculture, etc.) involved in the recycling of effluents through the production of bio-sourced products intended for crop fertilization. The objective of this conference was to take stock of the regulatory and technological situation of the recycling sectors oriented towards agronomic recovery.
