The international workshop dedicated to continental European area was organized on September 10, 2021 in the online mode via ZOOM platform.
The international event was aimed at presenting the NUTRIMAN project and its major activities and show the NUTRIMAN Farmer Platform with its functionalities and contained technologies and products.
The new EU Fertilising Products Regulation (EU 2019/1009) was presented in detail with the focus on new fertiliser related issues covered by the regulation. There was also a presentation dedicated to using biofertilisers and recovery of nutrient sin the context of challenges described in the Green Deal. Poland was presented as the case study with examples of challenges and benefits from using the biofertilisers. Selected nutrient recovery technologies and the linked products, representing biophosphates and digestate or compost soil improvers were presented: ID 192/193, ID 1664, ID 1665, with the focus on their characteristics and applications. The willingness to exchange between NUTRIMAN and BIOEASTsUp project, dealing with bioeconomy (https://bioeast.eu/bioeastsup/), has been initiated during the meeting.
The event was organized by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (www.iung.pl).
