Visit to a demonstration trial on corn in Italy

UNITO made an oral presentation (30 August, 2019) on the NUTRIMAN project and status of the EU law harmonisation of the innovative fertiliser products. They were presented to the agricultural practitioners the products used in the trials and it was also answered the questions. The project was considered interesting by all the 14 participants. They asked questions about NUTRIMAN products’ technology of production. The majority of people was nicely amazed by the parcels fertilized by using the two struvites.

The NUTRIMAN Consortium consists of 14 high-quality partners and 4 associated partners from 8 EU countries: 9 research organisations; 3 industrial partners; 4 Chambers of Agriculture; 1 Farmer organisation and 1 non-profit organisation. Every week, one of the partners in the NUTRIMAN thematic network will be introduced via an interview, starting with Edward Someus from 3R-BioPhosphate Ltd.
Demo event in Flanders on recycling-derived fertilizers

On Wednesday July 17th, 2019 Inagro and UGent organised a field visit to demonstrate recycling-derived fertilisers. During this visit, we brought together people from different sectors to give more information about recycling-derived fertilisers and the field trial on maize that was set up with these fertilisers. Furthermore, there was also attention to the application techniques with adapted or common machines and the environmental benefits that these fertilisers can have.
