Last August 19, 2021, a new event took place within the activities developed in the NUTRIMAN project: “Nutrient recycling in Flanders and abroad: some cases from the Nutriman project “. Due to the restrictions of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the event was held online. Anne Adriaens, from Nutricycle Vlaanderen, presented the various activities that the platform performs to put existing knowledge into practice and strengthen expertise and research further. Subsequently, Sander Vandendriessche, from INAGRO, explained the functioning of the Farmers’ Platform and the mini-surveys as tools for information exchange between the different actors of the project. The event had a slot dedicated to products and technologies obtained in the Flanders region. Mr Geert Vermeulen made the presentations of this slot. Once the local technologies and products were discussed, researchers from outside Flanders presented other success cases in N&P recovery in Spain, Netherlands, and Poland. A Q&A session followed the presentations where participants were able to ask their doubts to the presenters.
