Recycling-derived fertilizers are nutrients (N, P and K) that producers recover out of animal manure and use in new fertilizers. We aim at comparing those recycling-derived fertilizers with the use of raw animal manure and mineral fertilizer in a field trial on maize.
Several themes will be highlighted: the nitrogen efficiency of recovered nutrients, the use of recovered nutrients and how to apply them on the field, linked to fertilizer machine demonstrations, and the ecological effects of recovered nutrients.
